Can't attest to them being hardwearing as I have only worn them on a day hike so far, but they fit perfectly, I have about a 38 inch waste and everyone said to order up so I did and they are actually a little big. They are very light, quick drying and they are EXTREMLY easy to manuever in.
Pros:
Comfortable, Breathable, Lightweight, Plenty of Pockets, Stylish, Quick Drying
Cons:
KIWI STRETCH

These are a great fit and light also fit well, the only issue ihave with them is they are not hard wearing. I bought a paair about 10 months ago and the pocket on the right leg has un stitched, but the main thing is the elastic has started to come through the fabric and shows itself as looking like brown stiching all at the crouch and bum area. One other thing is they should have a rear pocket for a wallet rather than on the right leg. Having said this it would not stop me buying them as the comfort is so good.
Pros:
Comfortable, Breathable, Lightweight, Quick Drying
Cons:
poor sizing throughout the range

I bought a pair of ordinary kiwi trousers and a dearer pair of the stretch ones. I am a 36" waist with 34"inside leg so getting long length trousers can be hard. The ordinary kiwis fitted fine , bit loose if anything although the material was much heavier and probably more durable than the stretch ones.In showers it does kind of repel the water and not soak through. The stretch ones although the same size did not fit at all and i needed to get a 38" waist to fit around my tummy but made it too baggy elsewhere. The stretch ones are more suited to walking in hotter weather as are very lightweight , in wet weather they will get wet but dry extremely quick. If you have the extra cash get the stretch ones but watch out on sizing
