I like these trousers. Although I list more cons than pros, below, they are very comfortable and the pros still outweigh the cons. Pros: 1. Very light, stretchy and comfortable in hot weather; I even found them comfortable to wear in the gym and for running and doing stretching exercises. You could probably do yoga in them if you wanted. 2. The elasticated waist is sufficient to hold the trousers up without a belt, although a rucksack can pull them down a bit. 3. They dry amazingly quickly Cons: 1. The front pockets in most trousers hold the contents toward the inside of the thigh, which is quite comfortable. These ones hold the contents against the front/outside of the thigh, slightly overlapping with the side pockets. This is not so comfortable and makes the contents stick out quite conspicuously 2. The only zips are on one front pocket and at the back of one of the side pockets, which is a funny place to put a zip. I would prefer zips all over. 3. The back pockets go right down to the top of the thigh, whereas most hold stuff half-way down the buttock, which is much more comfortable and more convenient. 4. The bottom half comes off easily using the zips to get them over the boots and turn them into shorts. 5. I got two pairs. The waterproof pouch on one had poppers; the other had with Velcro with gum that seems to stick to your hands. They attach to the pocket over a cord which goes from one side of the trousers to the other and impedes your hand a bit when you put it into the pocket. However, it is good that the pouch is removable. 6. Where belt loops are double, one is attached with a popper. I have no idea why. 7. The front pocket zip is a little fiddly and hard to pull up. 8. I don‚„t know why the pockets are made of mesh. If this is to make them dry quicker then it is great, but I can see my keys tearing a hole in them in no time. 9. Two of the buttons fell off almost immediately.
Pros:
Comfortable, Breathable, Hard Wearing, Lightweight, Plenty of Pockets, Quick Drying
