1. How long have you worked at Craghoppers? I have been at Craghoppers for 2 and a half years, there have been many changes since I started but that?s what keeps everything so interesting! 2. What does your job entail? My job involves daily maintenance and updating of the website and ensuring that all new season information is collated and shown in the best way possible. I also work on the eshots to advertise discounts and exclusive offers and I basically keep the website as up to date, user friendly and informative as possible. 3. What are you currently working on? We are currently working hard to get all the new Spring Summer range live on the website, its a busy but exciting time as it means that summer must be on it's way! 4. What do you enjoy most about your job? I love the fact that no two days are the same. One minute I am working on images, product information and sending out offers and the next I am being blown away by some of our customers amazing travel pictures. Crags fans really are a loyal bunch and its great that they come together to share their stories and adventures on our website. 5. What is your favourite Craghoppers item and why? Well I think its safe to say that I couldn't get through the day without my trusty microfleece. It sits on the back of my chair and is my saviour in the winter months when the office is freezing. Who needs central heating when you have got a lovely microfleece! 6. What is your favourite sport/ outdoor activity? There is nothing like a good walk to put a spring in your step and some colour in your cheeks! I love walking through Rivington Pike followed by a lovely lunch and cup of tea. I must admit however to being a fair weather walker so will be happy when/if the sun comes out again soon! Have shied away from any activity which involves snow or ice since breaking my wrist ice skating when I was 11, I surprised myself when I went skiing for the first time last yr and managed to return home in one piece, with all bones in tact! This is definitely something I would try again in the future, especially the apres ski! 6. What is the last book you read? I have just finished reading the book 'Wicked' after seeing the musical. Both the show and the book were fantastic and an interesting take on the untold story of the wicked witch. I am currently reading a nice girly book by Cecelia Aherne called 'Thank You For The Memories'. I have only just started reading it but I get the feeling its going to be an emotional rollercoaster, as was the last book I read of hers called PS I love you. 7. What do you enjoy doing on your day off? Now that 'we' have finished decorating our house (my hubby calls this 'the royal we') I like to spend my time catching up with friends and family and also enjoy taking a drive out and finding a nice country pub to eat lunch. 8. What is your signature dish? My staple dish at the moment has to be meat strudel, one of my mother in laws 'famous' recipes. I admit it doesn't taste quite as good as hers but she has had a few more yrs experience in making it than I have! After 3 embarrassing attempts at making leek and potato soup (admittedly one of the easiest soups to make) my work colleagues felt quite sorry for me and bought me a lovely recipe book full of soups! I have now mastered this one and think I actually run the risk of overdosing on it if I make it again any time soon! |
